	ARCOBALENO Dopo la pioggia viene il sereno e l'arco-baleno è la speranza di un mondo migliore. THE RAINBOW There's always fine weather after a storm. The rainbow is the hope for a better world.

		PALLONCINI I palloncini rappresentano ventisei piccoli bimbi che sono volati in cielo: ora si divertono a giocare tra le nuvole trascinando palloncini colorati legati al filo di dolci ricordi. THE BALLOONS The balloons symbolize twenty-six little children that have flown up in the sky. Now they enjoy playing among the clouds, holding coloured balloons that are tied to a thread of sweet memories.

	ALBERO DEGLI AFFETTI E DEI RICORDI Con la lettera e il francobollo vogliamo metterci in contatto con voi: in questa busta sono custoditi tutti i ricordi, belli e brutti, della vita di un paese. È a questa busta che sono legati i fili dei palloncini: ricordi che non potranno mai lasciare il nostro cuore. THE TREE OF MEMORIES AND AFFECTIONS With a letter and a stamp we want to get in touch with you: this envelope keeps all the good and bad memories of a village's life. The balloons' threads are tied to this envelope: they are memories that will never leave our hearts.

		ALBERO DEL DIVERTIMENTO Tutti i bambini del mondo hanno diritto ad una vita serena, senza problemi. Hanno il diritto di giocare, di divertirsi insieme senza pensare alle cose brutte del mondo. THE TREE OF FUN All the children of the world have the right to a quiet life, without any problems. They have the right to play and to have fun together, without being worried about the bad things of the world.

	ALBERO DELLA CONOSCENZA Rappresenta le case e la scuola che non ci sono più. La scuola per noi è importante non solo perché in questo luogo si impara a leggere, a scrivere e a contare, ma soprattutto perché si vivono, insieme, esperienze che ci aiutano a diventare grandi, ad ascoltare e ad aiutare gli altri. THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE It symbolizes the school and the houses that are not in the village anymore. For us school is important not only because we learn to read, to write and to count, but, above all, because we live together and learn to grow up, to listen to our friends and to help them.

		ALBERO DELLA SPERANZA La vela di questa barca spinta dal vento va ad affrontare il mare aperto: è il nostro invito ad affrontare con coraggio il futuro. THE TREE OF HOPE The sail of this boat, drifted by the wind, is going to the open sea: it is our encouragement to face the future with no hesitation.

	RONDINE La rondine è un uccello migratore: va nei paesi caldi quando da noi arrivano i primi freddi, torna in primavera, quando la terra si risveglia a nuova vita. THE SWALLOW The swallow is a migrant bird: it moves to mild countries when it starts to be cold here; it comes back in Spring, when the ground wakes to a new life.

		FIUME Il fiume nasce in cima alla montagna e si ingrossa nel suo viaggio verso il mare, trascinando con sé tutti i ricordi brutti della vita. THE RIVER The river begins at the top of a mountain and gets bigger as it travels towards the sea, carrying all the bad memories of life.

	BARCA I ricordi belli che la vita ci ha donato devono galleggiare sulle acque del fiume come fa questa piccola barchetta di carta: arriverà al mare carica di promesse. THE BOAT The good memories life gave us must float on the river's water, as this little paper boat does: it will arrive to the sea with a load of promises.

		BAMBINI Questi due bambini, una bimba con una bambola e un bimbo con la cartella, ci dicono che la vita continua: devono essere aiutati dagli adulti a dimenticare i tragici momenti vissuti per affrontare con serenità il futuro. THE CHILDREN These two children, a girl with a doll and a boy with a schoolbag tell us that life continues: they must be helped by adults to forget the tragical moments they lived and to face peacefully their future.
